.jpg - a light weight format

This format is "lighter weight" and will not slow the computer down. It is appropriate for use in electronic media such as MS Powerpoint or MS Word.

This format will look sharp on the screen, but may at times not be fuzzy when, for example, printed on a laser printer.

Please note that .jpg is a rasterized format. Enlarging the image will reduce the quality of the logotype. However, it may be reduced in size.

This format always has a white background and can therefore NOT be placed on a colored background. Should you need it on a colored background a new file must be created using that background. Please contact a design agency of your choice.

.eps - a print format

This format is the only one admissible for printing, i.e. offset printing and other high quality printing methods. It is also the appropriate format for use in most layout programs.

This format is vectorized and may be enlarged or reduced in size, due to the needs in your layout. It does not contain a background and may therefore be placed on colored backgrounds.

Please note that if an .eps-file used in electronic media such as MS Powerpoint or MS Word, the rendering on the screen will be bitmapped (rough), but when printed on, for example, a laser printer it will appear sharp. However, it is a heavy format and will slow your computer down.
